We have had a lot of sadness in our classroom this year.  Earlier Dyson lost his great-grandma and then more recently Lilie lost her great-grandma as well.  At prayers today we were praying for Lilie and her family and Harrison got teary eyed and said, "That's really sad."  I am glad to see that we are nurturing empathy and compassion in our children.
